Aerotek CNC Press Brake Operator in Leavenworth, Kansas


This position will either be on 1st (5AM-1:30PM) or 2nd (2:30PM - 11PM) shift depending on what the candidate wants. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and running the Trumpf 5320 and 7036, which are 350-ton presses, as well as the 2006 Amada, which is an 80-ton press. It will require 1-2 years' experience within that specific skillset, however, not necessarily those machines. It is physically demanding, and they will be working with 20 gauge plate, up-to 1-inch thick plate. This candidate must be able to work with inmates, as Zephyr is correspondent with the Lansing correctional facility.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Willing to work 1st or 2nd shift
  • How to measure parts in all dimensions and angles
  • Knowledge of decimal system
  • Willing to work overtime and Saturdays if needed
  • Work on setting up and running CNC press brakes
  • Print reading, accountable, works well with others, communicates, multitasking, give and follow directions and instructions -
