Our people are experienced, diverse, energetic and fun. nIN THIS ROLE YOU WILLnThe Production Area Manager is responsible for a three shift print production area at our Leavenworth facility. The incumbent will have six section managers as direct reports and approximately 100-150 indirect reports. The Production Area Manager will manage activities as required to produce and ship products within quality, cost, and service objectives in a short cycle manufacturing environment. The incumbent is responsible for driving strategic lean initiatives to improve overall performance of their area.nResponsibilities include:nOversee and manage the area budgets and take appropriate action to ensure expenditures are within established limitsnDevelop and implement strategies that support overall plant and company goals - and effectively communicate those goals to area personnelnAct as a representative of Hallmark to direct and indirect reports on all significant personnel and business activitiesnDevelop relationships with key business partners in Leavenworth, Lawrence, and Kansas CitynCoach direct reports and other exempt employees in performance management and talent developmentnModel and hold others accountable for required leadership behaviorsnCoach employees to become problem solvers in order to continuously eliminate wastenEstablish a culture that maximizes employee engagementnLead large group of people through changes/ambiguity coming at an ever-increasing pacenInterested?
