Hallmark is looking for someone like you.n nThe Leavenworth Production Center has an opening for Utility Print Support in their printing department. Individuals in this position will help with a variety of tasks that support the Printers in the performance of their jobs. The Utility Print Support position in Leavenworth is on 3rd shift (11:30 pm to 8 am), Monday through Friday. The wage rate for this position would start at $18 per hour.n nThe UtilityPrint Support has a variety of duties which support printing production. Operate the parts washing machine and sonic cleaner. Assemble and disassemble doctor blades. Disassemble and clean press pumps, ink pans, splash guards, buckets, and other parts. Bring ink to the press and return to ink room. Complete regular press maintenance and cleaning. Perform quality inspections on cylinders that have been sonic cleaned. Assist operator with continually improving specified production requirements including production goals, throughput, etc. Must be certified to operate fork lifts and be able to transport cylinders and impressions rollers between presses and warehouse and load trailers. Operate programmable controller, which controls automatic baler operating parameters. n nIn this position you will:nHelp perform pre-make-ready and make-ready procedures and other press adjustments on gravure printing press, as well as operating the parts washing machine and sonic cleaner.nOperate fork lifts to transport cylinders and impression rollers.nAssemble and disassemble doctor blades.nAssemble, disassemble and clean press pumps, ink pans, splash guards, buckets, and other parts. nPump out dirty cleaner, bring ink to the press and return to ink room, dismount/mount rolls, string web. nPerform quality inspections on cylinders that have been sonic cleaned.n nRequirementsnYou must show how you meet the basic qualifications (listed below) in a resume or document you upload, or by completing the work experience and education application fields.
