In this pivotal role, you'll dive deep into the heart of our applications, ensuring they not only meet but exceed organizational needs. Your mission? To keep our software running like a well-oiled machine, address issues with precision, and champion updates that keep us ahead of the curve.

You'll collaborate closely with various departments to understand their unique requirements, tailor applications to fit their needs, and troubleshoot with finesse. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for promotion and delivery of quality internal and external customer service.
  • Installs, configures, and maintains software applications.
  • Monitors application performance and troubleshoots issues as they arise.
  • Collaborates and coordinates problem-solving efforts between internal business partners and IT or third-party vendors, software support, investigation and analysis of problems related to the specialist area of responsibility.
  • Leverages partnerships with current and new partners to maximize efficiencies and Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Prepares and presents subject matter knowledge, analysis, options, solutions in both written and presentation form to internal and external audiences.
  • Serves as a thought-leader and consultant for internal business partners.
  • Regularly appliesknowledge of future technology and system trends for your domain to solve for current and future business needs.
  • Supportsmaintenance of business systems and interface applications.
  • Manages end-to-end from idea to delivery of enhancements and changes to systems.
  • Assists with workflow redesign and process improvement.
  • Complies with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and related anti-money laundering statutes; and federal consumer protection legislation and regulations.

ABOUT YOU

  • At least six months of progressive work experience in systems and application analysis, administration or a similar role.
  • At least six months of experience working as a system analyst, administrator, database administrator, data warehousing, or data analyst, OR, Ass ciates degree with at least 6 months of IT experience related to maintenance of systems/applications or data analysis
  • Preference for banking related experience in IT, lending, and retail operations; and knowledge of loan and retail banking products
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to convey First Federal Bank of Kansas City's Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Excellent research, time management, and organizational skills.
