QPS Employment Group Machine Operator in Leawood, Kansas

Position Title: Machine Operator - 12 Hour Nights

Wage: $21.00/hour

Shift: 12 Hour Nights

Hours: 7:00am - 7:30am (2-2-3 Schedule)

Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic components in compliance with production requirements - Monitor machine performance, adjusting as necessary to maintain optimal production rates and quality - Perform routine inspections of molds, machines, and components to ensure proper operation and product quality - Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet specifications and standards - Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with injection molding machines - Assist in mold changes, setups, and machine adjustments to accommodate different production runs - Perform basic machine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed - Document production data, including output rates, quality issues, and machine performance - Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements for Machine Operator: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a machine operator in an injection molding environment preferred - Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues - Basic understanding of injection molding processes and machinery - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions - Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
