SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Marketing & Communications Program Manager plays a critical role in the Marketing + Communications segment by managing special projects that cross multiple workstreams and are usually defined by special funding by the Board of Directors, grant or sponsor funding, a patient/consumer audience (rather than a member/clinician audience) or promotion of new or expanding programs. This team member partners with the division vice president to develop the overarching strategy for the program and then collaborates with subject matter experts across the organization to develop, plan, execute and evaluate marketing and communication campaigns and programs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who takes initiative, feels a sense of ownership for the work, looks for the new or creative solution to marketing and communication opportunities, and connects dots across projects.

We are looking for a candidate ready to learn quickly and then jump in and get to work managing several new and/or evolving projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop comprehensive communication and marketing strategies that align with organization and/or project goals and objectives; oversee the implementation of these strategies, ensuring timelines are met and effective execution of projects.

Plan, execute and manage marketing and public relations campaigns from inception to completion; monitor campaign performance, analyze results and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes; report on performance; and identify best practices and opportunities for future improvement.

Lead cross-functional projects that require collaboration across different divisions and functional areas; coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of communication initiatives. Build relationships with agency partners, serving as day-to-day contact for some campaigns, ensuring alignment with organization’s communication strategies; develop proposals, reporting and collaborative updates for external stakeholders and industry partners, facilitating effective communication and continued support from partners.

Craft key messages for various projects, ensuring they are clear, consistent and aligned with the company’s brand voice and project goals; review and edit messaging across all communication channels to maintain consistency and effectiveness.

Other duties as assigned.
