Sunlighten Project Coordinator - Customer Care & Logistics in Leawood, Kansas

As a global leader in infrared sauna therapy, we are expanding rapidly and need a relationship-oriented, adaptable, and self-driven Project Coordinator to keep Sunlighten on this incredible trajectory.

In this role, you’ll partner with Customer Care, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to coordinate projects, track key tasks, and keep communication seamless across departments. As the go-to person for driving initiatives forward, you’ll facilitate meetings, capture action items, and ensure follow-through on critical deliverables. From supporting product testing to maintaining data in our CRM, ERP, and project tools, you’ll help make data-driven decisions and process improvements that drive efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination of project activities and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Act as a liaison between team members to facilitate completion of sprint tasks, directly assisting where needed.

  • Facilitate communication between project teams and clients in support of task completion.

  • Assist in product testing procedures, performing case research and updating records in the organizations CRM, ERP, and project management software.

  • Support the preparation of reports, including project and department reporting focusing on key performance indicators.

  • Assist in updating and maintain project tools using third party software and Office 365.

  • Update records in various systems to facilitate improving information available for Customer Care and Logistics teams.

  • Perform research in the organizations CRM and ERP in support of project tasks.

  • Assist in developing documentation for standard operating procedures related to project activities.

  • Evaluate processes, making recommendations for improving operations and leveraging automation where applicable.

  • Participate in meetings, capturing action items for follow-up and scheduling.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role.

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience (CAPM) preferred.

  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite preferred.

  • Experience with project management software such as Click Up, Trello, or Jira.

  • Working knowledge of traditional and hybrid project management methodologies.

  • Proven experience in successfully executing projects, with the ability to share examples of past projects you have contributed to and the impact they had.

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to build and cultivate relationships across departments, fostering collaboration and gaining buy-in to drive project success.

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to identifying roadblocks and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Open to new ideas, able to evaluate processes, and make recommendations for optimizing workflows and leveraging automation where applicable.
