Panasonic North America Senior Sales Manager in Leawood, Kansas
Overview
This role will be an integral member of the executive team tasked with developing and executing new critical business offerings in IT hardware/electronics repair, installation services, on-shore technical support, and bundled software solutions. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial and driven to develop long term, executive-level relationships with customers, partners and prospective clients. They will be directly responsible for driving internal and external growth of new revenue streams and profitability.

Responsibilities
Identify New Business Opportunities:
Analyze and understand strategy, assisting with the planning, design and implementation of business plans including managing and providing support for accounts to develop increased awareness & demand for our products
Researches, creates and implements business programs to enhance the customer and partner experience
Host new and existing customers for sales meetings on-site
Generate new customer opportunities by identifying key decision makers, evaluate potential business opportunities, and ultimately drive net new revenue for the company
Establish executive level relationships with new and existing customers
Develop, prepare and present proposals for services
Analyze market trends and opportunities within scope of current business and future opportunities relating to software/services/solutions
Develop strong relationships with industry partners
Manage programs from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer resources on all technical and operational processes
Provide timely, accurate & complete sales reports and forecasts
Partner with PCONA Sales teams to enhance current professional service offerings
Communicate with current customers to understand specific challenges and needs
Attend on-site customer visits and observe current business operations
Create engaging, professional presentations to assist with showcasing capabilities
Assist marketing team in development of materials utilized in the sales process
Product/Service Offering Knowledge Development:
Maintain a high level of product knowledge and application
Maintain a high level of competitive product awareness
Fundamentally understand relevant technologies
Develop & maintain high level of knowledge in specific needs of the company (focused on vertical market sectors)
Stay with changes in technologies and communicate this knowledge to team members as well as prospective customers
Attain firm understanding of product/services lifecycle
Sales Meetings/Conferences/Travel:
Attend National Sales Meetings annually
Participate in training seminars/conferences as needed
Provide facility tours/presentations for prospective and current customers
Intercompany Collaboration/Implementation of Programs:
Participate in meetings/discussions with all levels of management
Work alongside department managers to attain and maintain knowledge of operations
Solicit involvement and feedback from relevant departments relating to new products/service offerings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing or a related discipline or equivalent job experience
Experienced sales professional with 8+ years sales and/or business development experience in one or more of the following industries: IT hardware/electronics repair, OEM warranty services, installation services, on-shore technical support, and bundled software solutions
Understands moderately complex solutions and how to identify the value proposition for each to solve complex customer needs

The salary range below is just one component of Panasonic Connect's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
