Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related majors from accredited institutions, Master is a plus.
  • 4+ years\' professional software development experiences on multi-tiered enterprise applications.
  • A strong background in backend engineering, hands-on experience in creating high-performing APIs capable of handling high volumes.
  • A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and adeptness in applying various design patterns.
  • Proven ability in developing RESTful APIs and designing applications using a microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java/J2EE or Typescript.
  • Familiarity with our chosen tools in the JavaScript ecosystem (Node.js, Express.js, Hapi.js) is a plus, but an interest in learning those tools and writing code in TypeScript is a must.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in various database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases (like MongoDB).
  • Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of data streaming platforms (like Apache Kafka) and integration of these technologies into existing systems.
  • Proven experience working effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with cloud native application development in AWS or GCP platforms.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is \$86,500 to \$154,600, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
