B&R Insulation is a leading abatement, remediation and selective demolition company based in Lenexa, KS. We are seeking full-time laborers for immediate openings. Work is in the Kansas City metro area as well as occasional work in outlying areas (Topeka, Manhattan, Lawrence, Lansing, Maryville, MO Springfield, MO, St. Joseph, MO, Wichita).
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Pre-employment & annual Physical
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Ability to work out of town on occasion. We service all of Kansas and Missouri, although 95% of work is in Kansas City metro area.
- Legally able to work in the United States - we utilize eVerify.
- Able to wear full and half face respirators
- Able to interpret and follow oral instructions
- Regularly lift 40+ lbs
- Able to work in confined spaces on occasion as well as on scaffolding and roofs
- Good work ethic and attendance
Certification in Asbestos or Lead Abatement is a plus, however not required. Company-paid training for selected candidates including pay while in training is provided which results in State Asbestos Licensing.
Construction experience, OSHA 10-hr or HAZWOPER safety training, Asbestos or Mold experience will receive priority consideration.
