Job Description
PCG is seeking a Corporate Accounting Intern for Summer 2024 for its Corporate Accounting department at its headquarters in Lenexa, KS. This individual will be responsible for the following:
Assisting with preparing our accounting for audits.
Making journal entries and tying that into the underlying support.
Making sure that journal entries are accounted for.
Ensuring that the proper support is in place.
Assisting with scanning in specific journal entries and putting them into an electronic format.
Helping with day-to-day financial analysis.
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting
Minimum Requirements :
Must have beginning accounting classes completed
Ability to work in a team environment
Work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines
Customer service oriented and able to maintain a professional demeanor
Preferred Requirements:
- Currently in year 3 or 4 of their undergraduate preferred
