Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas, USA. As part of the team, you will be playing a crucial role in managing and organizing financial data. This role is particularly suited for individuals with a background in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and are seeking a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handling the accounts payable for the company, ensuring accuracy in the invoices and payments.
• Maintaining precise records of all transactions and updating them regularly.
• Processing customer credit applications efficiently and with utmost precision.
• Accurately tracking and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action when required.
• Ensuring all financial data is up-to-date and accessible for audits.
• Collaborating with other financial team members to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Continuously improving payment processes to enhance efficiency.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Adhering to all financial regulations and company policies. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
