Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Lenexa, Kansas, 66219, United States. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be leveraging your skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), check runs, coding invoices, data entry, invoice processing, and Microsoft Excel to maintain and enhance our finance operations.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the accounts payable operations, ensuring all invoices are coded correctly.
• Regularly perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
• Efficiently process invoice payments and handle check runs to maintain timely accounts payable.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to record, update, and track financial data.
• Handle data entry tasks related to accounts payable to maintain accurate and updated records.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoice processing.
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions as per company policies.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. Requirements • Proficient in account reconciliation, with a strong ability to identify discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies.
• Solid experience in managing all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice verification, approval, and payment.
• Ability to handle check runs efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Experience in coding invoices, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong data entry skills, with the ability to input large volumes of data quickly and accurately.
• Proven experience in invoice processing, including verifying details, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring prompt payment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use advanced functions for financial analysis and reporting.
