Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Assemblers. Both 1st and 2nd shift positions are available. 1st shift operates on a 4-day workweek from Monday to Thursday, while 2nd shift runs Monday to Friday . As an Assembler, you will perform electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical production sub-assembly and assembly operations to build and assemble units of moderate complexity. This role requires working from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire, and install a wide variety of components.
Responsibilities
Work from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire, and install a wide variety of components.
Identify and select components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.
Utilize small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED
One to three years of related experience and/or training
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Work Environment
Our brand new manufacturing facility in Lenexa offers a climate-controlled and very pleasant atmosphere. 1st shift hours are from either 5am - 3:30pm or 6am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, with the requirement to be available for Friday overtime as needed. 2nd shift hours are from 2:30pm - 11pm Monday to Friday. The work environment includes occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts with a moderate noise level. Employees must be able to use hands to handle or feel, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00
