Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team for the mechanical assembly and up-fitting of railroad track equipment. You will be working in a small team of 3-4 people in a shop floor type environment.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and up-fitting of railroad track equipment.
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts according to blueprints and schematics.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Work collaboratively with a small team of 3-4 people.
Ensure all assembled parts meet quality standards.
Lift and move heavy machinery parts up to 60 pounds.
Essential Skills
3+ years of mechanical assembly or mechanic work experience.
Experience with heavy machinery.
Ability to read blueprints and assemble parts accordingly.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Work Environment
You will be working on a shop floor in a team of 3-4 people. The work shift is from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
