Position Overview
The Billings Analyst works with internal partners to complete contract, intercompany, external miscellaneous revenue, and T&M billings using Kiewit’s SAP systems. It is the team’s responsibility to provide accurate and timely billings and support based on the requests submitted by our customers.

Location
This position is based our of our office in Lenexa, KS.
Responsibilities
Create billings accurately and timely based on information provided by customers
Understand all aspects of billings, including the various types and their impact on operational and financial reporting
Subject Matter Expert for Resource Related Billings (RRB); ability to train team members and operational counterparts on RRB processes
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers; understand Kiewit’s core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues
Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement; collaborate with internal and external partners to increase efficiencies and achieve service excellence
Proactively problem solve and assist customers in researching and resolving issues and concerns while meeting or exceeding customer expectations
Follow processes, procedures and internal controls
Reliable and consistent attendance
Perform other work-related tasks as needed or assigned
Perform routine invoice audits and provide analysis when needed

Qualifications
Three (3) years of professional business experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to use logic and reasoning to identify and assess the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and recognize discrepancies
Effective verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the company
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment
Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work
Excellent customer service and collaboration skills; ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization
Open to change and new information; able to rapidly adapt to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles; demonstrates flexibility in thought and action
Ability to develop and document process flows for team training purposes

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior SAP experience
College degree in business or related field
Previous exposure to contract, internal, external miscellaneous revenue, and T&M billing processes
Other Requirements:
