How will you make an impact?

Calibration and Maintenance Systems Supervisor will report directly to the Engineering Manager and oversee the site calibration program, CMMS system, department reports, department SOP management and audit response. Supervisor will oversee a small number or calibration technicians and a system admin/parts specialist.

What will you do?

  • Manage calibrations and system coordinator staff (2-5 people).

  • Manage CMMS software functions including PM/Cal generation, WO submission, document tracking and reporting.

  • Schedule monthly calibration work orders, drive completion compliance follow-up with quality documentation as required.

  • Oversee instrument tracking and development of calibration protocols and ranges.

  • Manage monthly calibration completion compliance and follow-up with quality documentation as required.

  • Work with external vendors to perform contract calibrations and recalibration of standards.

  • Perform documentation review and approval for completed calibration tasks.

  • Develop and execute internal calibration training program for maintenance technicians.

  • Manage equipment tracking and documentation for new and outgoing assets.

  • Develop and maintain workflow processes for maintenance CMMS program.

  • Develop and execute KPI reports from data tracked in CMMS system.

  • Generate and modify department SOPs and needed.

  • Support maintenance department with internal and external audit documentation requirements.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in an engineering or technical related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing environment

  • Experience performing or coordinating a calibration program.

  • Experience with CMMS software such as Maximo, Blue Mountain or SAP.

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality procedures.

  • Experience with good documentation practices.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.

  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds.

  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.

  • Must be able to work at computer or desk area for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with regulatory audit compliance
