Construction Laborer - Competitive Weekly Pay
Job Description
- Work hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday with potential for overtime depending on the project. The construction laborer will perform general labor tasks such as demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and clean-up to support daily operations at a construction site. Duties focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while supporting the overall project. Responsibilities include general cleaning, final cleaning, hauling trash from demolition, and loading trash onto trailers.
Responsibilities
Perform general labor tasks including demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and clean-up.
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction site.
Conduct general and final cleaning.
Haul off trash after demolition and load it onto trailers.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in a commercial or large residential job setting.
Knowledge of safety precautions in a construction environment.
Experience with general labor, construction, hand tools, power tools, concrete, carpentry, and forklift operations.
Work Environment
The work environment includes outside weather conditions, frequently working near moving mechanical parts, and occasionally working in high, precarious places. The position may involve exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, as well as cold conditions in the winter months. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
