As a Controls Engineer, you will troubleshoot issues with hardware and processes, order and specify all materials and components for projects, plan preventative maintenance, and continuously improve the reliability of existing systems. You will collaborate with others to detect problems and implement solutions efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards. You will also maintain the company’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regard to workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior, and appearance, and adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by the company and OSHA.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot issues with hardware and processes.
Order and specify all materials and components for projects.
Plan preventative maintenance.
Continuously improve the reliability of existing systems.
Collaborate with others to detect problems and implement solutions efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards.
Maintain the company’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regard to workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior, and appearance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
5 - 10 years’ experience using Rockwell Automation Control Platforms
Some leadership experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required with equivalent experience
Process Control experience and Programmable Logic Controller experience
Project experience from basic design, detailed design, construction, commissioning, qualification, and handover
Automation Programming (Rockwell Logix RS5000, RS500)
HMI development (FactoryTalk SE, FactoryTalk ME, Ignition)
Automation network design and communication protocols
Cisco/Stratix programming experience preferred
Continuously improve the reliability of existing systems
Material/Component specifying and ordering
Ability to work with customers directly to help guide them through upgrades
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
Travel to ongoing projects as needed (25% max)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
Medical, Dental, 100% paid by the company for both the employee and their family.Provides retirement benefits.
