Design and facilitate workshops for virtual and in-person delivery. Create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages learning while providing an experience that drives engagement by using best practices in instructor-led classroom design methods. Coach and mentor employees regarding personal and career development. Conduct and debrief assessments at departmental, team, and individual levels to identify growth opportunities, diagnose problem areas, and identify root causes. Provide insight to branch succession and leadership development conversations. Act as a culture champion who believes in, models, helps develop, and cultivates a vibrant employee experience. Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify talent development needs and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. Stay current with professional trends; attend educational workshops, review publications, and maintain personal networks. Support development tracking and reporting processes to measure progress and impact of programs to ensure desired outcomes are being met; implement improvements as needed. Apply change management methodology to projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Design, deliver, and manage L&D programs, and work closely with employee development initiatives.
Create and implement corporate training and development programs.
Conduct training courses focusing on professional skills and soft skills such as Leading Leaders, Crucial Conversations, coaching and counseling, career development, and organizational development.
Coach and mentor employees regarding personal and career development.
Conduct and debrief assessments at various levels to identify growth opportunities and diagnose problem areas.
Act as a culture champion by modeling and cultivating a vibrant employee experience.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify talent development needs.
Stay current with professional trends and maintain personal networks.
Support and improve development tracking and reporting processes.
Apply change management methodology to projects and initiatives.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with learning management systems.
Experience in training development and creating training materials.
Strong background in human resources.
Knowledge of the ADDIE instructional design model.
5+ years of experience applying training and development principles and adult learning theory.
5+ years of experience delivering training and presentations in a business and adult setting.
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
Ability to build credibility and collaborate with leaders, business partners, and colleagues.
Strong listening skills and the ability to draw connections for learning.
Ability to plan, manage, prioritize, and schedule projects in a fast-paced environment.
High emotional intelligence and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or Communications.

Work Environment
On-site at the Lenexa, KS office. Up to 25% travel to other corporate offices. The role includes a variety of meetings, deep work, and program delivery.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00
