Job Description

Card Processing Solutions, a division within Jack Henry & Associates, is seeking a Credit Card Senior Implementation Business Analyst to join the team. In this role you will be expected to lead client consultation on business and technical requirements, and incorporate the requirements into the overall project plan for implementation of the credit card platform. You will coordinate all phases of operational implementation of technical project deliverables. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in credit card platform installations, as well as expert knowledge around network paperwork and documentation, and compliance and regulatory issues in this subject area. We are seeking a very detailed oriented and organized professional looking to step into an exciting opportunity with JHA.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have 6 years of experience working in a financial institution or a Fintech company.

  • Must have 3 years of experience in credit card platform installations.

  • Must be able to travel up to 30%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree.

  • Payment processing industry experience.

  • Experience completing card processing conversions that require migrating data from one processing platform to another.

  • Experience providing client facing project support

  • Training in Six Sigma Methodology and project management certification preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats and give presentations utilizing various audiovisual support aids

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Extensive Knowledge and understanding of all JHA Products and Solutions associated with Credit Card Processing and how they are implemented in conjunction with the setup of a new Credit Card Program

  • Meet with client to discuss specifications, work with client and vendors to determine project options, and facilitate meeting with key client personnel including IT for network connectivity, file mapping, and project technical specifications

  • Manages department processes to ensure compliance and that deadlines are met.

  • Defines, documents, and publishes processes. Observes existing practices across multiple departments with similar functions and looks for opportunities to optimize practices and processes.

  • Supports collection and interpretation of business information.

  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

  • Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.

  • Performs Impact Analysis of all recommended changes and standards. Presents and defends recommendations to mid-management and senior level management.

  • Interrelates KPIs and adjusts business variables to improve the effectiveness of the measurements used.

  • Analyzes trends and provides correlated studies of potential changes and outcomes.

  • Provides advanced “what if” analysis and business intelligence.

  • Participates in post-project reviews to determine effectiveness, pertinence and timeliness of newly recommended processes. Identifies processes that are effective and works to change processes in need of further refinement.

  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

  • Tracks the appropriate market space.

  • Performs Cost-Benefit and other forms of analyses.

  • May assist less experienced peers.
