As a Data Analytics Intern you will have the opportunity to rotate throughout the commercial lending team and contribute to key deliverables within each department. You will also get to participate in a wide variety of corporate events that showcase our award-winning culture. These events include:
Lunch & Learns that provide an in-depth understanding of the credit union
Volunteer events within the community
Executive Roundtables
Social events with other interns
1:1 mentoring
Networking Events with Senior Leaders
Interns at CommunityAmerica Credit Union will receive a well-rounded experience that demonstrates the inner workings of a financial services institution, while working alongside leaders throughout the organization to provide innovative solutions that help us help our community!
Program Dates: June 7, 2021 - August 5, 2021
*Monday – Thursday (Off Friday)
Data Extraction and Prep – Learn how to gather, extract, and clean data from source systems, on-premise databases, and cloud services.
Product Line Analytics – Support the analytics department by preparing ad hoc analytics on banking product and service performance.
Member Analytics – Use a variety of quantitative methods to segment, analyze, and interpret the composition of our member base and their interaction with the credit union.
Process Automation – Learn how to leverage data and logical programming to automate repetitive manual functions.
Data Visualization – Learn how to use data visualization software to create interactive dashboards for developing insights and communicating findings.
Data Science and Predictive Modeling– Learn the fundamentals of data science and its application for predictive modeling and machine learning development.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, economics, computer science, or related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Ability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week for the duration of the internship
Strong written and oral communication skills
