As an Electrical Construction Estimator / Project Manager with Facility Solutions Group you will be a part of a dynamic and successful team that awards excellence in a truly competitive market. TheElectrical Construction Estimator / Project Manageris responsible for generating new business, keeping projects on track and on time as well as overseeing and managing crews of electricians, technicians and other skilled labor. Electrical Construction Estimator / Project Manager:
Identify and evaluate potential opportunities including performing pre-bid meetings
Perform Construction estimate including all materials, labor, and subcontractors required to submit proposals to clients
Identify scope gap and communicate with clients
Follow up on all bid submissions
Review scope with clients
Monitor, control and report on financial performance of projects
Estimate, negotiate and procure vendors and materials for assigned projects
Develop project staffing plans
Price and negotiate change orders
Communicate project goals via weekly update meetings with key personnel
Oversee participation in all aspects of job site safety and adherence to OSHA standards
Act as liaison between customers and Facility Solutions Group
Continually build, develop and grow vendor, subcontractor and field personnel relationships
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of the electrical commercial and industrial construction industry and products within the Kansas City metropolitan market is a plus.
Strong computer skills with Accu-Bid, Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Must have Valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to pass drug and background screen
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to multitask while staying organized
Positive customer service skills
