The role:

The Clinical Research Services Division represents ICON’s largest Profit & Loss Account. The key to the financial success of ICON is the financial success of this group.

As Financial Analyst I, you will support the CRS group by handling all headcount and operational metric forecasting across a variety of therapeutic areas. You will partner with your clinical colleagues (Project Managers and CRA’s) and will work with senior executives across the business.

• Review & interpret monthly results (financial & operational) to identify, communicate and agree on necessary actions with operational teams, to achieve quarterly budget targets.

• Ability to problem-solve and track resulting actions to achievement.

• Supporting the rolling 12-month forecasts, to be submitted to Corporate Finance on a monthly basis. Submission must also include actions necessary to achieve budgets

• Development and preparation of the annual budget.

• Support the preparation of ad-hoc management presentations and requests.

You will need:


• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business.

• 2-3 years’ work experience ideally in finance

• You will really enjoy working cross-functionally and collaborating with your business partners

• Analytically minded seeks out problem-solving opportunities

• Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks at a time

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
