Robert Half HR Generalist in Lenexa, Kansas

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist based in Lenexa, Kansas, United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in the HR team, focusing on heavily on employee relations, and then some administrative support, and managing various HR functions within our company. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, ON-SITE. $25-$27/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Lead internal investigations with precision and objectivity, developing actionable plans and providing timely, well-supported recommendations to managers to mitigate risks

• Handle corrective actions and disciplinary conversations/meetings with employees to maintain a respectful work environment

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to managers, stakeholders, and the HR/recruiting team

• Oversee unemployment processes, ensuring prompt and accurate responses, demonstrating expertise in managing the full unemployment lifecycle

• Support in drafting, editing, and assisting management in performance documentation and conversations, ensuring clarity in communicating underperformance and expectations to employees

• Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and assist in resolving workplace conflicts

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status

• Use your communication skills to enhance employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Utilize your knowledge of FMLA and Corrective Action to handle Benefit Functions effectively.

Requirements • Must possess knowledge and experience in Benefit Functions

• Excellent Communication skills are required

• Familiarity with Compliance procedures and regulations is essential

• Experience in managing Employee Relations is necessary

• Proficiency in handling Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) related matters

• Ability to conduct Corrective Action when required

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is desirable

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role

• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

• Good knowledge of employment/labor laws

• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Aptitude in problem-solving

• Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach

• Additional HR training will be a plus
