The Opportunity
A Human Resources Business Partner collaborates with management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of the business to proactively support its people’s agenda, drive performance, and foster a culture of engagement and innovation.
At AGI, the HRBP role is essential for fostering a productive and engaged workforce while ensuring the business achieves its objectives.
The Team
Reporting directly to the US HR Lead, this role will play a key role in managing all human resources functions for Lenexa location as well as being a leading support to the surrounding operation locations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
• HR support to surrounding operation locations.
• Partner with business leaders to identify and address workforce challenges.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on HR metrics and trends.
• Support organizational design and change management initiatives.
• Proactively seek out and recommends opportunities for continuous improvement and enhancement of employee engagement and company culture.
Employee Relations
• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies and best practice.
Talent Management
• Collaborate on workforce planning, succession planning and talent development initiatives.
• Support Recruitment and retention strategies tailored to the business’ needs.
HR Operations
• Ensure seamless implementation of HR policies, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate with HR teams to manage compensation, benefits, and performance reviews.
• Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems, and guides other departments on same.
• Partner with payroll and maintain the HRIS.
• Maintain records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
• Establish and maintain department records and reports.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meeting, as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR with a focus on strategic partnership and consulting.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem solving and analytical capabilities with attention on data-driven trends and decisions.
• Experience and familiarity with OSHA regulations is preferred.
• Advanced skills with: Word, Excel, Outlook
• HRIS experience is preferred, UKG knowledge is a plus.
