Kelly Services Incubation Technician in Lenexa, Kansas
Incubation Technician
3am-11:30am Mon-Fri & Every 3rd Sunday
$16.75/hr

Job Summary and Purpose:
The Incubation department is the first stage of the production process. The duties of the Incubation Technician is to take the raw material SPF Egg from receipt to further processing of the egg and supply a high quality incubated egg to Production.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
Perform receiving duties both physical receipt and in the JDE Inventory control system
Complete all further processing such as tray, rack, set and candle the eggs
Deliver and transfer eggs to site and transfer in the JDE system.
Deliveries require driving a 20 ft. box truck
Provide optimal incubation conditions by maintaining clean and properly operating incubators
Complete all required documentation concurrently, legibly and accurately
Maintain a clean environment throughout the entire department
Discard trash and waste in dumpster or Stericycle totes/tubs
Recycle cardboard boxes and egg flats by operating the bailer equipment

Technical / Functional Competencies: Ability to work both independently, with minimal supervision as well as in a fast paced team environment Must be efficient in basic math Must follow all written SOP s Comply with USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT and
Company Policies and Safety regulations Able to drive Ryder truck and pass driving tests
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to work a work outside of set schedule, this may include weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
Education - High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience - 2 years of hatchery or production experience preferred
DOT certification or ability to obtain upon hire; posses a valid Driver s license
Physical Requirements: Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English
Bending and stretching
Ability to push carts with up to 100 pounds into truck
Ability to lift 60 pounds shoulder height numerous times a day
Standing for long periods of time
