ICON Clinical Research Lab Analyst Intern-Large Molecule/Biology in Lenexa, Kansas

What will you do?

The Lab (Large Molecule/ Biology) Internship provides the opportunity to learn and use bioanalytical methods to support clinical trials research with clients. The Lab Intern is also part of a team that is responsible for quality control within the laboratory processes/instrumentation and supports the reporting of data from the studies.

Exposure to the following experiences is likely:

  • How to use micropipettes and other general laboratory equipment

  • How to make solutions

  • How to acquire and analyze data using large molecule platforms (e.g. ELISA)

  • Learn different test methodologies

  • Learn different instrument platforms

What do you need to have?

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies as a junior or senior, or possibly in graduate school, Pursuing a degree in a relevant life science discipline, including, but not limited to: biology, premed, microbiology, anatomy & physiology, biochemistry, or immunology

  • Experience working in a laboratory setting is beneficial but not required

  • Coursework which includes laboratory exposure

  • Good organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and willing to learn

  • Read, write and speak fluent English.

  • Availability to work full-time
