Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Lenexa, Kansas

Aerotek is seeking a maintenance technician to work in Lenexa, KS.

Description:

This position is responsible for maintaining all production equipment and plant facilities in proper working condition for maximum productivity.

Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment on flexographic equipment, etc.

Works with equipment vendors on installation of new equipment and coordinates efforts of equipment vendors for repairs of production equipment and building components

Conducts daily inspections of and performs maintenance as needed on incinerator equipment, air compressors, conveyors, and compactors

Performs preventative maintenance on printing and converting equipment according to schedule and specifications

Identifies major components needed for inventory and orders parts

Maintains required maintenance records for equipment

Assists and trains other maintenance personnel as required

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is preferred but not required

Must be strong with pneumatics - 3+ years

Basic welding experience is a nice to have

Electrical troubleshooting is a must - AC/DC and high voltage equipment up to 480V

PLC troubleshooting ability is strongly desired but not required

Maintenance experience on flexographic printing presses is desired but not required
