Job Description

The IT Operations Delivery Manager will be accountable to deliver high quality, innovative, cost effective IT infrastructure in support of customer operations and corporate business across all locations in the Americas. He/she will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations of IT infrastructure that meets all committed SLAs. He/she will be accountable for the successful implementation of all initiatives, programs and changes. This hands-on, technical position will be required to develop and lead a team of IT support personnel, make technical decisions and work closely with cross functional business areas and IT groups. He/she will ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with established procedures and best practices. A successful candidate should be comfortable working within a highly matrix-driven multinational organization, exhibit solid organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, and have a strong customer focus. Expected Travel: Up to 25%

  • Develop and implement IT infrastructure goals, plans and objectives that support the company's vision

  • Hire, develop, train and retain top IT talent with a focus on System Administrators

  • Provide technical direction and support for a highly virtualized Windows and Nix server environment via VMWare virtualization technology and multiple storage platforms with a focus on NetApp and Nimble

  • Preserve assets by ensuring CMDB compliance, implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures and information security and control structures

  • Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity and respond to events or issues per commitment

  • Prepare budget and track spend and timing for all maintenance needs and purchase requirements

  • Manage all aspects of IT vendor relationships including customer care, issue resolution, and product/release management

  • Identify repetitive tasks and implement automation solutions

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of server infrastructure (particularly Windows Server 2012+)

  • Windows server 2012+

  • Linux server (RHEL, SUSE)

  • Knowledge Microsoft SCCM, Active Directory and Group Policy

  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere 6+

  • Knowledge of network security and anti-virus

  • Knowledge of NAS/NetApp and Nimble SAN platforms

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and applications

  • Knowledge of IP networks, networking, VMware, Storage, Anti-malware, Security

  • Knowledge of the ITIL process methodology including asset management, change management, incident management and risk management

  • Knowledge of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops and servers

  • Experience with Active Directory

  • Experience in process improvement, metric development, reporting and process analytics

  • Working knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) and related technologies

Required Experience

  • Preferred Minimum Level of Education: Bachelors Degree

  • Required Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ to 7
