Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our team. This role involves formulation, processing, packaging, and cleaning within a temperature-controlled, clean room manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will operate machinery, monitor automated processes, and ensure the highest standards of safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Weigh powders (chemicals) and transfer them into containers, while monitoring room temperature and humidity.

  • Load chemicals into large stainless-steel blenders and use equipment operation interfaces to preblend, mill, and postblend.

  • Monitor automated processes and troubleshoot as necessary.

  • Prepare materials and pack out powder into various containers such as barrels, buckets, and bottles, and palletize filled containers.

  • Break down and set up equipment, hook up hoses and piping using gaskets and clamps, spray down rooms, and load equipment into parts-wash machines.

  • Operate and monitor automated cleaning systems.

  • Perform basic computer tasks and document processes legibly and accurately in logbooks and company records.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience

  • Basic mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

  • Ability to maneuver and position mechanical components up to 50 kg

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or quality control

  • Basic computer skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn

  • Good attitude and attendance

  • Interest in a full-time, permanent position

Work Environment

Clean room manufacturing environment with scrubs worn over clothes. Safety shoes and glasses are required at all times. N95 masks are required for certain tasks, and a fit test is necessary. Shifts are fixed and do not change between days and nights. Day shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm, Night shift: 7:00pm - 7:30am, both on a 2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.28 - $23.41/hr.
