JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will serve as the technical mechanical product expert as you partner with project engineers, electrical engineers, software/system engineers, certification engineers, and other project team members from around the world while designing circuit board integrations for all things oxygen.
Will lead the analysis of our existing processes while also developing new processes.
Will be involved in all phases of the engineering processes from concept evaluation and proposal to design and development to qualification/certification and product field support.
Participate and/or chair design reviews and lessons learned to ensure mechanical design maturity and troubleshooting any challenges.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a US Citizen or US Person (Perm Resident w/ Green Card)
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience designing and troubleshooting mechanical oxygen or gaseous systems including regulators, cylinders, hosing, and breathing systems.
Experience in developing mounting containers for the oxygen and passenger service unit systems.
Mechanical component obsolescence and alternate parts mitigation.
Experience with Aerospace products
Experience with DO-160 or MIL-STD environmental qualification.
Experience with Oxygen Systems or Passenger Service Units (PSUs) or similar systems.
Experience with Siemens NX CAD development tools and integration with Team Center
