Job Description

PCG is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator for its corporate operations based in Lenexa, KS . This position is responsible for the following duties:

  • Processing of payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Entering of new hires, employee changes, terminations, employment verifications.

  • Provide customer service to all branch locations regarding any payroll issues.

  • Process and reconcile union trust fund payments on a monthly basis paying close attention to deadlines.

  • Reconciling and balancing of union related general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, preparing journal entries when necessary.


Basic Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of payroll/accounting experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong accounting and reconciliation experience.

  • Organization and strong work ethic.

  • Ability to efficiently multi-task.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of construction industry operations, union trust fund payments and practices preferred.

  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll processes preferred.
