Job Title: Planning - Purchasing Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Planning/Purchasing Coordinator to assist our team in recording and managing material information. Your primary responsibilities will include capturing material details, communicating with vendors to obtain specifications, creating internal specification documents, routing documents for approval and uploading documentation into our quality data systems. You will also be expected to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the recorded information, maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data, collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues, adhere to company policies, procedures and quality standards, and provide regular updates on progress and challenges to project stakeholders.

Hard Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel for data entry and analysis

  • Knowledge of document management systems, preferably Master Control

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Vendor communication

  • Material planning

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Effective communication skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lenexa, Kansas.

Work Environment

You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating with vendors, and handling sensitive data. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and relevant experience in a similar role or field is preferred.
