What is the job about?
Grundfos Pumps Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Intern to join its Industry CSSC (Customer Sales Support Center) team.
As an Inside Sales Intern, you will assist in measuring, analyzing, and improving the processes of the customer service/application engineering within USA and Canada through collaboration with the regional Customer Sales and Support Center teams.
In this position you will work report to the Head of IND CSSC Americas and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of our Lenexa, KS, facility. Remote working will be supported.
Your main responsibilities :
Collect, organize, and analyze data related to customer service activities, application engineering processes supporting distribution and OEM customers.
Map existing workflows and processes within the customer service and application engineering teams.
Document current processes, highlighting pain points, bottlenecks, and areas of inefficiency.
Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
Propose and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance customer satisfaction.
Support the creation of training materials and resources to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Coordinate with various departments such as Sales, Manufacturing, and Marketing to gather insights and align process improvement efforts with broader organizational goals.
Your background
Qualified candidates will be in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Engineering students are preferred as well as those who have taken business or marketing classes. Other skills that we are looking for include:
Excellent PC skills with above average knowledge and use of Microsoft Office application programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as a good aptitude for learning and applying new systems and programs.
Analytical and systematic approach to business processes.
Ability to develop and assist on product presentations for all levels of management and for all sizes of audiences, including both internal and external customers.
