Aston Carter Sales Support Specialist in Lenexa, Kansas
We have a client in the Overland Park area who is looking for a Sales Support Specialist. This company offers a great work culture and the opportunity to work in a hybrid setting after a two-month training period, during which employees will work in the office. After training, employees can work remotely 1-2 days per week. Additionally, they provide an annual bonus based on company performance and allow employees to finish work an hour early at 4 PM every Friday.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist who will be responsible for daily communication with customers, managing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves processing customer orders, handling complaints, creating return authorizations, and compiling reports. You will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our sales support functions.
Responsibilities
Communicate daily with customers regarding timelines, deliverables, and other customer service-related topics.
Process customer orders in the ERP system, confirm stock, provide price confirmation, delivery dates, and additional information needed for production schedules.
Manage discontinued items and ensure shipping holds are removed.
Receive customer complaints and coordinate product return/complaint resolution with the returns department.
Create and process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) for returned products, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
Submit and track carrier claims for lost or damaged shipments, maintaining communication with the carrier to provide updates to the customer.
Monitor order shipping times to ensure they meet the average turnaround time.
Compile statistical analysis and prepare various reports as requested internally or by customers.
Essential Skills
Proficient in using Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with the ERP system Dynamics 365 (D365) or a similar ERP system.
Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
Highly organized with strong order entry and customer support skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with proven quality-driven work habits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, strongly desired.
1-3 years experience in a business-related admin/support role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
