Growing manufacturer in Liberal, KS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Director to add to their team! This is a new position which will lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices at the plant. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and proven experience in lean manufacturing leadership. Previous steel manufacturing experience preferred. Excellent benefits, relocation and target bonus of 25%!

Growing manufacturer in Liberal, KS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Director to add to their team! This is a new position which will lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices at the plant. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and proven experience in lean manufacturing leadership. Previous steel manufacturing experience preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices to improve efficiency and develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Conduct value stream mapping and identify areas for process improvement.

  • Train and mentor staff on lean methodologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of lean projects.

  • Lead Kaizen events; implement and maintain 6S

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar required

  • Ability to drive cultural change and engage employees at all levels in continuous improvement efforts.

  • Proven experience in lean manufacturing leadership within a steel tank or similar manufacturing environment.

  • strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 6S, Six Sigma).

  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
