Growing manufacturer in Liberal, KS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Director to add to their team! This is a new position which will lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices at the plant. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and proven experience in lean manufacturing leadership. Previous steel manufacturing experience preferred. Excellent benefits, relocation and target bonus of 25%!

Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices to improve efficiency and develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct value stream mapping and identify areas for process improvement.
Train and mentor staff on lean methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of lean projects.
Lead Kaizen events; implement and maintain 6S
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar required
Ability to drive cultural change and engage employees at all levels in continuous improvement efforts.
Proven experience in lean manufacturing leadership within a steel tank or similar manufacturing environment.
strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 6S, Six Sigma).
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
