Customer Service Representative - Inside Sales

The ideal Customer Service Representative - Inside Sales candidate ensures client satisfaction while working in cooperation with outside sales to grow existing customers. They effectively manage their resources, and work within the policies and procedures of the company in addition to performing other key administrative tasks and special projects.

Job Description

  • Responsible for answering inbound sales calls from customers and internal staff members in a timely and professional manner.

  • Provide quotes to customers in a timely manner.

  • Process customer's requests accurately while paying attention to details.

  • Answer customer's questions regarding our product and pricing.

  • Enter customer orders into computer system while verifying correct pricing.

  • Communicates with supervisor and outside sales representatives on customer orders, requirements, problems and concerns, and changes.

  • Follows up promptly on all customer requests for information, including tracking and delivery dates, and quotes availability.

  • Proactively communicates with customers about any expected delays or issues with the order.

  • Resolves customer complaints and disputes in a timely, professional manner that balances customer requests with business needs.

Required Skills

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Have the ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, and handle a large volume of calls.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; Lawson M3 experience a plus.

  • High level of customer service skills and experience

  • Work requires considerable accuracy and responsibility.

Required Experience

  • College Degree preferred.

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience.

  • Experience in pipe fitting industry a plus.

    Primary work days will be Monday through Friday with over-time as needed. The position is situated on-site at the facility with normal hours of 8-5.
