Job Title: Ironworker Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Ironworker Foreman who is open to training and learning. The ideal candidate must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints, and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including dirty and dusty environments. Asking questions and having a willingness to learn are crucial for this role.
Responsibilities
Work around cranes, rigging up I-beams.
Work on structural steel that supports buildings.
Connect I-beams to columns.
Work comfortably at heights while always being tied off and using a scissor lift.
Proficiently use power tools, torch, hot saw, tape, and basic iron-working tools.
Safely operate boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telescoping forklifts.
Lift up to 100 pounds with repeated bending, lifting, twisting, and climbing.
Read blueprints and layout.
Essential Skills
Experience in construction general laborer, ironworker, iron worker, structural steel, structural iron, structural welder, stick welder, stick, MIG, GMAW, 3g, 4g, Iron worker
Proficiency in structural steel and stick welding.
Certified welders comfortable with labor work.
Ability to read blueprints and layout.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certified with 3g and 4g welding.
1g certification would potentially be a fit.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $33.00/hr.
