Clerical staff throughout the district assist staff, students, parents, and the public. They help ensure the efficient and effective operation of the office. We are seekingclerical substituteswho can fill in when a full-time secretary is out for an extended period of time. Assignments may be 3 days to 12 weeks.\ \ A Day in the Life:
- Utilize basic office equipment
- Communicate with staff, students, parents, and the public both verbally and in writing
- May assist with filing, data entry, compiling information and competing other paperwork
- Admits and greets visitors
- Supervises students, as needed, in order to ensure their safety
- Maintain confidentiality in order to comply with district, state and federal laws
- Performs other duties as assigned in order to ensure a neat, orderly, and safe environment
- Have basic computer and office skills
- Work well with others and can multi-task
- Can spend the majority of their day sedentary Some time is spent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and using finger dexterity
