Two positions are available starting between June 1 and August 1, 2025. The successful candidates will join our team of eight board certified veterinary anatomic pathologists and four anatomic pathology resident trainees (two per year) in the Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) and Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology (DMP). Goals of the residency program are to prepare trainees for a career as a veterinary anatomic pathologist via a solid understanding of the pathologic basis of disease, experience in diagnostic skills including necropsy, biopsy, and mail-in case management, and teaching of 2nd and 4th year DVM students (labs and diagnostic rotation). These experiences are also intended to prepare trainees for successful completion of Phases 1 and 2 of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists certification examination.
