\ \ Animal Technician - Large Animal\ \ Department: 3670080070 Veterinary Health Center\ Job no: 517353\ Employment type: Staff Full Time (USS)\ Location: Manhattan, Kansas\ Worksite: On-site requirement\ Categories: Veterinary Medicine\ Pay Grade: 05A\ \ \ About This Role:\ The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking an Animal Technician I to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service. This position supports the routine and specialized care of hospitalized animals in the VHC by maintaining and ensuring a sanitary and safe environment for patients, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This position is primarily responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of large animal common and ancillary areas of the hospital. Working hours for this position will include evening hours Monday-Friday with rotating on-call coverage on weekends and holidays.
