This position will work closely with the project director and the Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities, Inc. (KCCTO) team to manage the implementation of the Kansas Career Pathway for Kansas Child Care Professionals. The Associate Project Director will provide oversight of the project\'s internal operations, ensuring commitments aligned with grant outcomes are met in a timely manner. This position reports to the project director.\ \ Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
- Build relationship networks inside and outside of the organization
- Align the interests of multiple, diverse stakeholders with the initiative and serve as a liaison between different stakeholder groups
- Communicate with national consulting groups on project coordination
- Contribute to the implementation of strategies and development of policies and procedures based on core principles and organizational needs
- Organize and engage in steering committee meetings
- Develop reports and presentations to promote the Kansas Career Pathway
- Provide professional support to leadership by serving as subject matter expert in career and/or workforce development
- Work closely with the executive director to provide oversight on the project management budget
- Act on the executive director\'s behalf, when necessary
- Supervise staff and students working on the initiative
\ Implementation of the Career Pathway for Early Childhood Care and Education professionals is a partnership between KCCTO and K-State\'s College of Health and Human Sciences, guided by the Early Childhood Strategic Plan: \"All in for Kansas Kids.\" This multi-phased initiative will engage state and national leaders in early childhood systems, economic development, higher education, and state agencies to organize the strategic implementation of the plan, revealing clearly visible pathways for entry to and advancement in early care and education.\ \ Why Join Us:\ Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities, Inc.
