rAbout This Role:
Kansas State University's Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina seeks applications for a full-time faculty member in Aviation Maintenance Management to join its Department of Aviation. This is an open-rank, nine-month position, with expected effort in teaching, scholarship, and service.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
+ Masters Degree in Aviation or closely related field
+ FAA Mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
+ Three (3) years minimum technical experience in the aviation maintenance industry
+ Three (3) years minimum successful teaching experience in higher education in an FAA Part 147 program
+ Earned doctorate in a relevant discipline (for tenure track appointment)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work in a diverse team environment and with students, faculty, and administration
+ FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)
+ NCATT Aviation Electronics Technician
+ FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License
+ Ability to connect to the aviation industry
