Work on grape crop, including vine suckering, vine planting, leaf removal, early season crop thinning, move wires, canopy work, trellis system, installation and repairs, maintenance of fencing surrounding fields, vine staking, training of young vines, drip system installation and repair, picking, weed removal with long handled hoes, pruning, vineyard layout, root picking and preparation, including the removal of stones, tree roots and other debris as necessary, harvest of wine grape. Equipment operation, storage, shed cleaning and organization. Equipment maintenance, repair, vehicle maintenance. Maintain proper record keeping.

Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals and will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries. Employer may provide occasional meals when kitchen facilities are not available, and if so, will not deduct the allowable meal rate.

The employer shall provide transportation between the place where the employer has provided housing to the work site & return at the end of the workday. Such transportation will be without cost to the worker, and the means of transportation shall meet all applicable safety standards. Employer will provide one or more vehicles to adequately transport the number of workers requested. Available vehicles may consist of pickups (capacity of 2 - 6), cars (capacity 2 - 5), SUVs (capacity of 5 - 7), or vans (capacity of 10+). Due to the nature of farming, the availability/types of vehicles may change frequently. Workers who chose to decline employer provide housing also forego employer provided transportation. Workers may not use or operate employer vehicles for their personal use unless expressly authorized by the employer. Workers may be responsible for fuel for personal use.
