R1 RCM HIM Supervisor in Manhattan, Kansas

As our HIM Manager, you will be maintaining the integrity of patients records while managing the operations. Utilizing your superior communication and leadership abilities, you will guide, coach, and enhance the skills of the HIM team. A critical aspect of your position involves formulating and enforcing policies and procedures that adhere to medical, legal, and ethical guidelines.

Success in this role demands meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a dedication to managing confidential information with the utmost care. Leveraging your knowledge in Health Informatics (HI), you will ensure that all patient health records are accurate, accessible, secure, and of high quality. Your ability to solve problems effectively and navigate a fast-paced setting will be key to your excellence in this position.

Your active RHIA or RHIT certification, coupled with your proficiency in Health Information Management, will keep you at the forefront of developments in the HIM domain. Your experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and understanding of medical terminology will be instrumental in your success.

Here’s What You Can Expect

  • To ensure that department performance aligns with productivity, quality, and compliance expectations, you will need to maintain knowledge of current health information regulations.

  • As an expert user/administrator of Health Information technology systems, you will be responsible for ensuring proper functionality and addressing any issues. You may also lead or assist with system implementations and upgrades.

  • You will support the leadership and local administration by assessing, investigating, making recommendations, and following up on new technology, projects, goals, targets, and business initiatives.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $36,500.00 - $57,439.80 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
