\ \ Laboratory Client Services Representative\ \ Department: 3670080080 Veterinary Diagnostic Lab\ Job no: 517690\ Employment type: Staff Full Time (Unclassified - Term)\ Location: Manhattan, Kansas\ Worksite: On-site requirement\ Categories: Veterinary Medicine\ Pay Grade: 04B\ \ \ About This Role:\ The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time, Laboratory Client Services Assistant. This position will provide customer service (both in English and Spanish) for the Rabies Laboratory through communications via email, fax, and phone with veterinarians, reference laboratories, medical doctors, pet owners, health departments and regulatory agencies, and maintain the quality system through corrective action reports and ensuring high customer relations. - Requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience
\ Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s Degree
- The applicant should speak, write, and read Spanish competently.
- Excellent computer skills including databases, word processing and data entry.
- Excellent written and oral, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
