\ \ Program/Project Assistant\ \ Department: 3670009200 Department of Housing & Dining\ Job no: 517697\ Employment type: Temporary Part-time\ Location: Manhattan, Kansas\ Worksite: On-site requirement\ Categories: Administrative / Professional, Architecture / Construction / Design, Dining / Hospitality\ Pay Grade: 06A\ \ \ About This Role:\ This part-time, temporary position will provide administrative support related to the creation and implementation of a fixed asset tracking system for Housing and Dining Services, Facilities Management.\ \ Duties include:
- Audit fixed assets for inclusion in a comprehensive database.
- In conjunction with departmental IT staff, develop and test database to track equipment and permanent assets.
- Create replacement schedules for asset replacement.
- Reconcile database information to physical inventory.
- Assist with special projects and reports.

- High school diploma
- One year of relevant experience
\ Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in facilities management or construction
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor\'s degree

- Valid driver\'s license upon employment
