Key Responsibilities
- Tax Preparation:Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and entities within the agricultural sector, including partnerships and corporations.
- Client Engagement:Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and ensure accurate and timely tax filings. Respond to client inquiries and provide support during the tax season.
- Compliance:Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation relevant to the agricultural industry.
- Documentation:Maintain organized and accurate records of tax filings, client communications, and other essential documentation.
- Research:Conduct basic research on tax issues affecting the agricultural industry, including deductions, credits, and other tax-saving opportunities.
- Team Collaboration:Work closely with senior accountants and managers to support various tax projects and initiatives.
- Professional Development:Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance tax knowledge and skills.
