This job was posted by : For more information, please see: STORMWATER ENGINEER Public Works/EngineeringReports to: Principal Civil Engineer Open Until FilledSalary Range: $63,876.80 - $101,566.40 Depending on QualificationsPOSITION PURPOSE:The Stormwater Engineer directs, develops plans, manages, and coordinates the design and implementation of public storm sewer system improvements for the City of Manhattan. This position is fiscally responsible for the management of the stormwater fund. The Stormwater Engineer is responsible for the design and maintenance of records and files for engineering projects as assigned. Reviews infrastructure plans, plats and drainage studies prepared by consultants; provides highly responsible and complex administrative and technical support to the Principal Civil Engineer.Required: Education/Training/ExperienceGraduation from an accredited University with a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and possession of an Professional Engineers License in the State of Kansas, or the ability to obtain a professional engineering license in the State of Kansas within 6 months of hire or promotion into this position.For a complete job description click here:
